ANOTHER SANCTUARY DOUBLE CD

I have lots to tell you so let's get cracking! First off, hopefully in May, Sanctuary Records will be releasing the most exciting MUNGO JERRY product for years, maybe of all time. A double CD called 'MUNGO IN DISGUISE - THE RARITIES' will be jam packed with all sorts of gems from the archives, a lot of which have either not been issued at all or are just plain rarities. I don't know the final track listing as yet but I'm hoping that the package will include all three tracks that were recorded for the 'YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE IN THE ARMY' album back in 1971 but not included on the final cut. Those tracks were - 'SHORTY GEORGE', 'OUTSKIRTS OF TOWN' and 'YOU GOT ME DIZZY' - all three are superb! |

This year's 35th anniversary gigs draw ever closer and I can announce that tickets for the Sunday the 19th of June gig at the Forum Theatre in Stoke-on-Trent are available from either, Derek priced at £10 each, or organiser GARRY MARSH who has allowed us to have 80 front row seats exclusively for fan club members which will sold on a 'first come, first served' basis. The previous day sees an outdoor gig at The Coppice Special School with Ray playing a special set. Fan club members are welcome with the school asking for a £5 donation rather than ticket purchases as such. Again, contact Derek or Garry for more information. 9.45: FINISH The Forum Theatre is inside the Potteries Museum in Hanley, Stoke On Trent - NOT IN NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME! Newcastle is about three miles away. Hanley is the 'City Centre' of Stoke-On-Trent, and the Forum Theatre is in the 'Cultural Quarter'. There are lots of eating places, bars, etc, open on Sunday afternoon, all within five minutes, at the most, walk from the theatre. Lots of parking within two minutes walk from the theatre too.
