I have been working with Rainer in Germany on more merchandise, he has converted a few old live tapes from the seventies on to CD and now we must see what to do with them, I have also found many old photos and most of them have now been digitised. Rainer has now taken over the work of making the MP3 files and previews for downloading from the shop, then Nigel can get it up and running, it is my intention to include other items and music in the shop and not limit to only MUNGO JERRY stuff.

Recently, we shot the footage for the 'STAYING AT HOME' and 'IN THE SUMMERTIME' videos, 'STAYING AT HOME' went into the MDR radio chart as high as No.6, there have only been 500 copies made for promotion for the album which is to be released on October 28th, I'm doing a major TV show for ZDF on Saturday 29th which goes out at 8.15 PM with an audience of 6 million.

I'm rehearsing the songs for the next MUNGO JERRY BLUESBAND album which we expect to begin recording late November, I've also been recommended a studio in Paris to record with JOE RUSH, and we have been offered the Toe Rag studio, where THE WHITE STRIPES recorded their No 1 album, to record with MIKE COLE and BRUCE BRAND.

I have some songs together for the next MUNGO JERRY UK band album but cost and organisation have not yet come together, Matt has said that he no longer wishes to work with the band but he has not done many gigs with us in the past year, we have been using REX HORAN who is absolutely brilliant to work and play with, you may remember him from the Stoke gig? We are playing at the Inn On The Beach, Hayling Island on November 12th and on the 13th I'm doing a semi acoustic blues, etc, gig with ALAN JOHNSON, he is completing a guitar tutorial DVD which if it turns out OK we can have in the MJ shop.

I have put together two CD's of old material for the proposed Sanctuary collection and I think that I will offer them some more tracks to choose from, the Zounds booklet has now been translated into English. This compilation will be offered to other companies for release in the UK and elsewhere.

Roberto has completed the mixes and artwork for 'MR MIDNIGHT', it should be released in January, 'THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA' package is a two CD, plus DVD set, it says something like, "the legendary blues singer, Mungo Jerry is Mr Midnight!"
